Several major luxury cruise lines are introducing mystery shopping with ShadowShopper as a way to help them evaluate and improve their customers' experience onboard. As a start, ShadowShopper will have between 2 and 4 of these opportunities available to our Gold and Lifetime members each month. We anticipate that this number will grow each month. So, your chances of getting assigned one of these opportunities over the course of the next year are very good!

There are several important things you must keep in mind about cruise line mystery shopping.

• This is a job and not a free vacation. It's critical that you approach these assignments seriously.
• These cruise jobs require you to complete an evaluation of the overall cruise. Typically these evaluations take about 45 minutes each day that you are on the cruise. The evaluations are due for submission within 72 hours of the end of the tour.
• Some cruise line jobs require couples only. Virtually all of these jobs will include tickets for 2 people even if couples are not required.
• You are responsible for your transportation to the departure port and will not be reimbursed for this expense. You are also responsible for alcohol, extra services and port tours.
• The cruise line jobs do not pay cash for the actual assignment (the cruise itself IS the pay). However, some cruises will have job opportunities within the individual shops and services onboard.
• Some cruises will require you to pay a small fee to cover port charges. Many though do not. All fees required of you will be fully disclosed prior to your commitment.

"My absolute favorite shop has been the 7 day cruise shop through ShadowShopper! The entire report is narrative (35 pages) but I enjoy writing and didn't mind the extra work. I made sure to record my experiences each day and found that it made the report easy to fill out and not overwhelming. On average it only took 30 minutes to an hour. The form itself was simple, laid out well with easy to follow, concise instructions.
